Specific objectives

SO1. Advance the concept of sustainable development in national policies, international agreements, economic operators' strategies and consumer behavior
SO2. Provide clear and objective information on existing private initiatives for sustainable development in North / South reporting
OS3. Enable economic agents to better understand and evaluate these initiatives

Production and dissemination of the guide available online in French, English and Spanish

Activities

This guide includes a database of private initiatives applied in North / South relations. It brings together 26 tools (standards, code of conduct or label) presented in their social, environmental and economic dimensions.

A1. Identification of existing social and environmental labels, standards and codes of conduct
A2. Identification and clarification of the specifications and criteria of these tools
A3. Identification of the tools functioning (homologation, control, accreditation...)
A4. Development of an analysis grid of these standards
A5. Development of the database: design, food and monitoring
A6. Creation of web pages: presentation of the guide, definitions, lexicon, factsheets, online database on the RONGEAD website
