Specific objectives

As part of its prospective activities, the SNI explored the potential of cashew culture for the socio-economic development of the Northern zone.

Results

R1. Survey of freight forwarders (Douala, Ngaoundéré). R2. Survey in the production areas: (planters, management and research structures, private operators, etc.).

Activities

A1. Rehabilitation / regeneration of existing plantations.
A2. Establishment of an artisanal shelling unit.
A3. Cashew nut extension and shelling support for cashew nuts.
