Main goals

Sustainably strengthen the organizational, mobilization, structuring and implementation capacities of CSOs working in the fields of health, the advancement of women, youth and the social sector

Specific objectives

  • Promote the emergence of a legitimate, structured and competent Gabonese Civil Society
  • Facilitate the participation of independent CSOs as legitimate and competent interlocutors of the state in identifying and defining development strategies

100 CSOs trained and accompanied directly

Results

R1. 100 CSOs were trained at PCM Project Cycle Management
R2. 10 CSOs had access to funding following a call for projects
R3. 150,000 € of grants was awarded to Gabonese CSOs

Activities

A1. Identify active CSOs and identify their training/support needs
A2. Training on the different modules (project cycle management, financing request ...)
A3. Regular counseling at the Mbandja Libreville Center
A4. Accompanying requests for financing (consulting, proofreading, structuring ...)
