Main goals

352/5000 Develop the gum arabic sector by supporting stakeholders. This project is part of the contract between The Forests National Corporation FNC and IRAM entitled "Support in Structuring Arabic Gum sector in Sudan". For this purpose, IRAM and RONGEAD have formed a group, RONGEAD providing its industry experts.

Activities

The main tasks are to work on the downstream value chain with stakeholders to understand how the sector works:

** A2. ** Development of marketing tools
** A3. ** International market Information: Developing a market information system of the gum sector based on mobile phone software, to test the feasibility of the project and the potential impact in Sudan.
