Job offer: Certification technical manager in support of shea organizations
The position is part of the Shea Gets Greener project which aims to promote artisanal and organic shea butter in Côte d'Ivoire for the international market
Mission
We are looking for a field person based in Côte d'Ivoire who will focus on working with organizations of women shea collectors and shea butter producers to support them organizationally and lead the conversion to organic farming. The final objectives of the support should make it possible to have shea production structures that are sufficiently organized and efficient to increase the volumes produced, processed and certified; to improve practices and meet the quality requirements demanded by the sector; to foster lasting commercial relationships with customers, by strengthening their organizational and commercial skills.
Working conditions
- Local CDD 1 year, renewable according to the results and the development of the projects with a trial period of 3 months
- Office in Korhogo, in the north of Côte d'Ivoire, but very frequent trips to the localities of partner cooperatives
- Job start desired before April 22, 2022
