National CDD job - Traceability and data collection in the cocoa and cashew sectors in Côte d'Ivoire
He is in charge of setting up a blockchain traceability solution with a cocoa cooperative and promote it to professionals of the sector
Local profile based in Abidjan, the activities planned for this new position are:
- the implementation of the field activities of a traceability and blockchain project and partnership with Gaiachain and Metajua
- setting up a traceability tool pilot for a bio / fairtrade cocoa cooperative and adapting it to the context
- support for the collection of agronomic data on cashew production plots
- mobilization and prospection of cocoa professionnals
Most of the activities of the post will take place on the ground, in relation with the actors of the cocoa and cashew sectors: communication activities, monitoring, data collection and analysis.
