Presentation of the solution for producing electricity from agricultural biomass from African industries
Valorization by gasification of rice husks, cashew shells or wood residues
The Agro-Gazelec project, co-financed by the FFEM and implemented by IED, Nitidæ and Cirad, is developing and disseminating a solution for the production of electricity from agricultural residues. Self-production of electricity is already possible for cashew nut, rice husk and wood residues: all the resources are present in West Africa for the dissemination of this innovation!
