Nitidæ supports the Fondation Internationale pour la Gestion de la Faune (IGF), co-manager of the Gilé National Reserve (RNG) in the province of Gilé in Mozambique, in the implementation of a project financed by AFD for the sustainable management by local communities of Non-Timber Forest Products, in particular honey and mushrooms, collected in the buffer zone of the reserve. Nitidæ is in charge of carrying out technical training in beekeeping, carrying out pilot tests, such as dryers for the conservation of mushrooms, and is also in charge of carrying out a market study to assess the commercial potential of these products in order to create an economic incentive to good management of the RNG buffer zone.
