Zakia Jumanne

Holding a diploma in General Agriculture from the Ministry of Agriculture Training Institute in Uyole-Mbeya, Tanzania, her expertise includes solid field experience in crop production supporting smallholders and promoting sustainable agricultural practices as well as agribusiness innovations. Zakia's passion for farming is immense and her ability to work in rural context linking local farmer's knowledge with research and extension is a strong asset for Nitidæ's field team in Tanzania. Within the SATAF project, she works onto the co-construction of agroecological practices and knowledge together with cashew farmers in the Pwani Region and elsewhere.
