Study ways of recycling waste in cocoa plantations

Specific objectives

  • Describe the issue of management of fermentation juice (quantity, degradation of equipment, environmental impacts ...)
  • Identify treatment and / or recycling possibilities. The possibility of energy recycling will be explored in particular, as well as opportunities for links with other activities in the region (livestock, recycling of biomass ...)
  • Propose a plan for the establishment of a pilot plant for treatment and / or recovery in the plantation
  • Perspectives for all of the sponsor's supply
