Léna Orhant

Biography
She holds a dual degree in Agricultural Engineering and in Quality Value Chains and On-Farm Processing (Master Food Identity) from ESA (École Supérieure d'Agricultures, Angers). She specialises in strengthening producer organisations, facilitating multidisciplinary work and implementing strategies to structure high value-added value chains. Drawing on her previous experience in the coffee, cocoa, honey, meat and cheese sectors in France and abroad, she brings a cross-cutting perspective spanning production and marketing. She also has expertise in sensory analysis, particularly as applied to coffee. At Nitidae, she is involved in the SATAF and IRITHE projects in Uganda, where she coordinates the technical support provided for the agroecological transition of coffee and cocoa systems and the structuring of their value chains.
