Léon Bickel-Pasche

Agronomist and ethnobiologist, holder of an MSc in Agriculture and Development from the University of Reading (United Kingdom). He specialized in territorial approaches and the co-construction of change within farming systems at the Tropics and Mediterranean Division of Institut Agro Montpellier. His areas of expertise include understanding territorial agrarian dynamics, the socio-economic and technical aspects of production systems, particularly at the interface with conservation issues, as well as the design of international dual vocational education and training (VET) programs. In 2026, he joined Nitidae to provide technical support to the coffee and cashew value chains under the SATAF project in Tanzania, working closely with producers, local partners, and market actors.
