Maël Bertet

Biography
With a degree in agricultural engineering, Maël specialises in sustainable agricultural value chains. His work combines field studies, stakeholder coordination and strategic recommendations to improve sustainability performance within supply chains.
He worked for two years in Côte d'Ivoire at JLB Expertises, supporting stakeholders in the cocoa and rubber industry (importers, exporters, cooperatives) on issues related to traceability and sustainability.
He also worked in the Indian Ocean (Mayotte and Réunion) for a year, monitoring funding from the French Office for Biodiversity.
He joined Nitidæ's research department in November 2025.
