Patrice Houphouet Yao

Biography
With a master's degree in Agriculture & Forestry from Jean Lorougnon Guédé University in Daloa, he first worked for the Association of Natural Forest and Plantation Owners of Affery (APFNP-AFF) as a supervisor on a project to promote deforestation-free cocoa production to reduce emissions in the Mé region (PROMIRE).
He then worked as an agricultural advisor on a FIRCA project to support small oil palm producers in obtaining RSPO certification within the PALMCI company.
He also worked as a technician on a sustainable cocoa project for the OLAM group and as a supervisor of forest plantation thinning (silvicultural work) in the Mé region as part of a project led by Nitidæ.
He joined Nitidæ in 2025 on the PASSAD project.
