Develop an overall strategy for engaging private sector actors and increasing private investment in sustainable agribusiness (including Non Timber-Forest Products – NTFP) in the ER Program area, considering local, regional, and international markets

R1. Master plan for sustainable agribusiness
R2. Concept notes for 4-5 specific projects in the agri-food sector
R3. Support for initial contacts and discussions with potential partners

Activities

A1. Identify opportunities and barriers to sustainable agribusiness development at the country level and in the REDD program area
A2. Define growth prospects in potential local, national and global markets, and the feasibility of being profitable
A3. Establish linkages with the program's environmental objectives, and in particular the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from deforestation and forest degradation
A4. Prioritize 4-5 value chains for which a full assessment of the technical and financial feasibility of the project, the ability to access local, national and international markets and the identification of potential partners will be conducted
A5. Support the program by providing access and support to the preparation of meetings with potential private sector partners

Holder of a Master of Science, "Agricultural Engineer and territories development" from the Institut Supérieur d’Agriculture (ISARA Lyon), he brings his expertise in agro-food/agricultural sectors' analysis and development, strengthening of supplychain actors (producers, private/public actors, agro-food industries...), socio-economic analysis of agricultural chains and his great knowledge of companies in these markets
