Main goals

This study aims to strengthen the commercial capacities of cooperatives and private stakeholders working in the vanilla sector in São Tomé and Príncipe, strengthen the relationships between stakeholders, as well as improve potential outlets for finished products. Advice on marketing strategy and quality management are the main means to reach that objective.

Specific objectives

SO1. Assess the vanilla valie chain in order to understand the required capacity building (production, processing, marketing)

SO2. Strengthen the capacities of key agents thanks to a technical support

SO3. Design a roadmap for the development of the sector and the strengthening of its positioning in the identified markets
